Falken Tire Corporation was established in 1983 and is widely recognized for its focus on performance-driven tire technology. While Falken’s North American headquarters is located in Rancho Cucamonga, California, the brand’s origins trace back to Kobe, Japan, where it was first founded before entering the U.S. market two years later.
To support nationwide distribution, Falken operates multiple warehouse facilities across the United States, including locations in New Jersey, Florida, Tennessee, and Texas. These facilities are dedicated to logistics and distribution, allowing Falken tires to reach customers efficiently across North America.
Originally developed under Ohtsu Tire & Rubber Company, Falken was introduced as a high-performance radial tire brand. Over the past several decades, the company has evolved into a leader in Ultra High Performance (UHP) tire technology. Falken actively uses professional motorsports participation as a testing ground to refine its products, helping improve performance, durability, and overall quality for global markets.
Performance & Passenger Tires
Falken produces tires for a wide range of vehicles, including passenger cars, sedans, light trucks, and SUVs. One of the brand’s most popular performance models is the Azenis RT615K, an Extreme Performance Summer Tire.
Falken has achieved numerous milestones through motorsports and innovation. In 1988, the brand won the Mirage Cup International Series and introduced the Falken Sincera Tire. In 1991, Falken competed in major endurance events, including the Rallye de Portugal and the Kenya Endurance Rally.
Between 1998 and 2000, Falken achieved major success with the Mine’s Falken BNR33, winning the Class 1 Series Championship. One of Falken’s most significant achievements came in 2015, when Major League Baseball (MLB) named Falken as its Official Tire.
